OOC POST! Again...

I can't stand making these posts, but...

Most tech problems are solved. Meaning, I have Internet connection (on our own network which my father and I named EnglandSucks XD). But, this is still an 8-year-old laptop ready to plunge into the middle of traffic during a high-speed car chase. It freezes constantly.

And not to mention my net nanny. Come Winter Break (starts Dec. 15) I should be getting a new laptop, and when we get back, we'll get it set up. If they forget the net nanny, great. If they don't, I'll fetch the box this time. But...for now, Maddie's gonna be gone for a while.

So sorry everyone! I'll still be making LJ posts!

I have to leave now, everyone. I wish I didn't have to, but the Fenton Finder has been picking up ectoplasmic energy spikes out of state so large that it's been detected in Amity Park.

And since Jack was away when a large barrage of spikes were found, I needed to go see what was going on, and as soon as possible. So I've taken the Fenton Assault Vehicle, stocked it with weapons and the Finder, and I've gone.

I will be able to keep in touch every so often through this website, though.

Well...this isn't good.

Due to the fact that my family shares two laptops, I have been forced to use it for Amity Slash. And it's oh so typical of my parents to go stalk after me. So they open up a few journals, read some yaoi, spaz, and deem me mentally unstable. And p e r v e r ted. That=not good.

Also, I have got my own computer set up (finally!) and that's good. Ish. The bad thing is, it has CyberSitter, so now I can't visit journals such as Dan's, Freakshow's, Ember's, Johnny's, Danny's, and Kwan's. Most of the AS journals, actually. And depending on the posts, the coms as well. *sigh* It's because of this CyberSitter that I was so behind on the Faux plotline.

Please refrain from using extremely harsh language meanwhile. Sorry 'bout this, folks! But damn, crap, and spaced curses are acceptable. *sigh* Dammit.

I'll try and hack, meanwhile. See if I can do anything about it.

Well then.

I met Danielle, who prefers to be called Dani, apparently. A Canadian exchange student...I hope she can get me her parents as soon as possible. I just want to make sure everything's okay with them. Too bad they're on a cruise.

She even met the Wisconsin Ghost! What a surprise! How did she even get to Wisconsin anyway? As far as I know, he's been to only two areas, and that's Wisconsin and Amity Park. Huh.

She also made me realize something...I knew it deep in the back of my mind, but it was just only brought into the open. While I do want to find Phantom, I only want to interrogate him. Parapsychology issues, you see. Jack and I already know as much as we possibly can about their physical composition from other ghosts we've studied, but Phantom is one of the more...complex spectral beings we've met, and it would be nice to find how his mind works instead of his body. Jack, if you're reading this, comment about this idea.

And I found the boy who's tried to steal Jazzy away, that...that...that Johnny boy! Argh! If this wasn't the Internet and I knew where he lived he'd be catnip right now! That little lying urchin punk! GRAH!

((OOC: Tech problems continue. My own laptop can connect to a network but won't open the web. We don't know why. So I'm stuck on this computer.))

Eek. Poor Maddie.

I was just gone all week away in rural England for a trip we have called Discovery Week. Hence, no tech access. And Mom said I had to pay for my own time at the cafe here because she didn't want me reading fanfiction at a price here. Poop.

And...I'm moving into our permanent apartment soon. So this cafe will not be easily accessed. But we got a BT Broadband trial disc we might be able to use.

And I have IT class twice a week for about an hour, and those times I will be available. For those who want the times, they are APPROXIMATELY 1pm to 2pm GMT on Wednesday and perhaps 12:30pm to 1:15pm GMT on Fridays or something along those lines. I will post with the exact times later.

Meanwhile, Maddie will be poking around randomly. If Dani-mun wants an RP with me, comment and when I get back it might get set up.

I never really saw the point in online journals...private ones are completely different. Those are for your eyes alone. Not for half the world to be hanging on ever word.

However...there aren't any ghosts around tonight. And I have nothing to do tonight. The kids are out, Jack's doing his needlepoint, and I've already made 3 different batches of cookies.

So just to humor myself, I've set one of these livejournals up!

Now to go see what the kids have been putting up on these things...
